The Sewing Room

A room where the lady of the house is working on her needle work, embrodery and other stitching technics.
Think of the antique samplers and the embellishment of clothing in the 17th century.

In the 17th century the Dutch had a norrow links with Denmark which was an influence and an inspiration  for the needle work at that time.
Spain was also an influence,they brought at the end of the 16th century the blackwork already to the Netherlands.
